Short biography

Fulvia is a Medical Doctor for the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Verona Hospital of Verona. She completed her residency in Infectious Diseases in 2015 and her PhD Program in Applied Life and Health Sciences, Infectious Diseases curriculum, in 2019.
Her scientific interests include antimicrobial stewardship, diagnostic stewardship, and clinical management of COVID-19 and other viral infection having potential to cause epidemic. Currently, she is coordinating a randomised controlled trial to assess the effects on antibiotic prescription of the implementation of point-of-care tests to diagnose respiratory tract infections among residents in long-term care facilities.
