Short biography

Elda Righi is an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases at the University of Verona, Italy. She had been Research Fellow in Medicine at the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA where she completed a PhD in Experimental and Clinical Immunology. Her scientific interests include the study of vaccine impact on antimicrobial resistant bacteria, clinical and therapeutic aspects of Gram-negative resistant infections among immunocompromised patients and antimicrobial stewardship. She is associate editor for BMC ID and is author and co-author of over 100 papers listed in SCI-JCR and NIH Medline.
