SENTINELLA Press Conference - 20th of July 2021


The project SENTINELLA has come to an end on the 29th of June after performing regular COVID-19 tests on a sample of 1922 participants from a population of individuals considered to be ‘sentinels’ of the spread of SARS-CoV-2. The data from the research study has been presented at the ECCMID ‘European Conference of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases’ in July 2021 with the following title: “Active surveillance for early detection of SARS-CoV-2 infections across high-risk community key populations” (P. De Nardo, M. Tebon, A. Savoldi, L. Marasca, D. Peserico, E. Danese, D. Gibellini, A. Mazzariol, G. Verlato, P. Marchetti, G. Caliskan, S. Porru, G. Rizzo, R. Leone, E. Tacconelli).
