Description
Title: Community Oriented ACtions against HIV: community prevention and treatment of TB/HIV coinfection
Background: Priority challenges in combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Kenya relate to maternal and child health and the fight against the triple threat: new HIV infections, early pregnancies, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
The project aims to strengthen integrated and individualized community HIV prevention and treatment services for TB/HIV co-infection in Machakos County, Kenya.
UNIVR Activities: UNIVR will provide scientific expertise in service integration and monitoring system through the coordination of an implementation research study.
