In this video, ID-CARE biostatistician, Alessandra Nazeri, discusses her path from the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Verona. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Biostatistics from the University of Milano-Bicocca. During her later years, she became familiar with the University and Hospital of Verona through activities related to her master's thesis. Then, in 2023, she completed her internship working on the MANTICO trial at the University of Verona in the Department of Diagnostics and Public Health, and is now part of the ID-CARE team as a biostatistician and research assistant for the VERDI and COMECT projects.
In the video, which at the moment is in Italian but will be subtitled in English, she explains her thesis' project, which explores the duration of symptoms in COVID-19 patients and compares two statistical approaches to analyse data from the MANTICO trial. She also explores the ID-CARE website and shares her experiences within the team. Check out the video below!
