On April 14th, the 1st ORCHESTRA general assembly of the EU funded project ORCHESTRA (Connecting European Cohorts to Increase Common and Effective Response to SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic) took place virtually online.
The meeting was attended by more than 120 participants including the 26 consortium partners and their networks, the European Commission and the 7 members of the Advisory Board, including representatives from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European Medicine Agency (EMA).
The meeting allowed partners to provide an update on activities undertaken since project inception (01.12.2020). In addition, partners discussed the new tasks that have been assigned to the Consortium to include the analysis of SARS CoV-2 variants and vaccine response with additional budget from the European Commission.
