Registration Number: 2389 CESC VR_RO
Primary Objective: To evaluate the intervention of an antimicrobial stewardship program and a patient-tailored antibiotic prophylaxis to reduce the occurrence of SSI until 30th day after surgery in patients undergoing pancreatic surgery
Secondary Objective: To evaluate the intervention of an antimicrobial stewardship program to reduce the inappropriate use of key antibiotics, such as piperacillin/tazobactam and carbapenems, administered for prophylaxis or treatment of SSI; to evaluate the intervention of an antimicrobial stewardship program to reduce the treatment costs.
