Registrations now open for the joint ESCMID-Ecraid in-person postgraduate workshop: Better methods for clinical studies in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology

On 06-08 October 2026, the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and the European Clinical Research Alliance on Infectious Diseases (Ecraid) will be co-hosting an insightful in-person postgraduate workshop in Verona, Italy titled: Better methods for clinical studies in infectious diseases and clinical microbiology. 

The event is open to all researchers in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases that use epidemiological and statistical methods. Through this workshop, attendees will be able to craft clear and focused research questions that drive meaningful inquiry while identifying and addressing potential biases that may influence research outcomes, ensuring robust and reliable results. Participants will gain insights into selecting appropriate research designs and methodologies tailored to specific research objectives and acquire the necessary techniques for writing concise and informative research reports that effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
