Call for all young or early-career researchers working in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases using epidemiological and statistical methods:
The registration for the 5th edition of ‘Better Methods for Clinical Studies in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology’ postgraduate course is now open!
Organised by ECRAID in collaboration with ESCMID, the course will be held on 28th – 30th October, in Athens (Greece).

THE COURSE
The three-day course will provide participants with practical knowledge on how to:
phrase a research question,
gain insights into selecting appropriate research designs and methodologies tailored to specific research objectives
acquire the necessary techniques for writing concise and informative research reports that effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
The panel of experts include Henri van Werkhoven (Utrecht, Netherlands), Jesús Rodríguez-Baño (Seville, Spain), Leonard Leibovici (Petah-Tiqva, Israel), Luigia Scudeller (Pavia, Italy), Mariska Leeflang (Amsterdam, Netherlands), Martin Wolkewitz (Freiburg, Germany), Mical Paul (Haifa, Israel).

Attendance grants are available from Ecraid, ESCMID and GARDP.
Grant registration deadline: June 30th.
Standard registration deadline for the course: September 5th.
