Catherine Fleming

Research Assistant

Catherine is originally from Dublin, Ireland. She holds a BSc in Microbiology from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology from University College London. She has previously worked at Ireland’s National Virus Reference Laboratory and at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), where she monitored and analysed infectious disease threats as part of the epidemic intelligence team. Catherine is now involved in the CoMeCT and VERDI projects as part of the ID-CARE team at UNIVR.
