Title: SARS-CoV-2 Sentinel Surveillance in Verona

Design: Sentinel surveillance cohort study

Primary Objective: To identify the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in sentinel populations in order to implement specific control measures to prevent further transmission of the virus in Verona.

Secondary Objective(s):

• to early identify SARS-CoV-2 positive subjects (including asymptomatic ones) and perform contact tracing in collaboration with the regional Public Health Service (SISP - Servizio di Igiene e Sanità Pubblica);

• to define the characteristics and temporal trend of cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection;

• to offer to the subjects who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 a dedicated diagnostic-therapeutic path;

• to promote health (including vaccinations and structured psychological support) for the target categories/populations.
