“BY YOUTH SIDE! Inclusive health services for young people in the fight against HIV”  in Kenya!

Primary Objective: to strengthen the integration between public health services offered by the local health system with the community and make them more attractive for young people in the fight against HIV in Kenya.

Three are the pillars on which “BY YOUTH SIDE!” stands:

1) prevention of new HIV infections, 

2) adherence to antiretroviral treatment, 

3) fight against stigma and discrimination. 

The research team of ID-CARE, as partner is involved in the 3rd component

 “Fight against stigma and discrimination”, conducting an operational research on the importance and impact of disclosure on the adherence to antiretroviral treatment.
